I was checking out an app on the BBC website, The world at 7 Billion. The average life expectancy in South Africa is 51.2 years for male gender. I was editing this image and the quote above made a whole lot of sense. I can only hope that I would have such a privilege.

The past weekend my family and I took a trip to Pretoria to go to the AFB Waterkloof Airshow. It was, as always, pretty well organised and awesome. My son was there when he was around 3 or so, so he didn't really remember what was going, but this year he was blown away. Thank goodness the rain managed to stay away, while everyone was entertained with spectacular demonstrations and shows.

Recently we went to Gold Reef City, an old mining area converted into an awesome theme park.  Even though the rides are awesome and theres so much to do for the kids and family, they have these houses set aside that take you back to a time lost and forgotten to most of us.

My wife loves all the antique goodies and the way the lived in the olden days, so she had an absolute ball walking through these old house, except the toys room, she got freaked out a little by the dolls.
